Vacation Cabins
The customer needed to build very warm vacation cabins in Novosibirsk to reduce heating costs and maintain a comfortable temperature inside. To ensure fast and high-quality insulation, the customer decided to use multi-purpose PIR Plita® insulation boards with film/film cladding.
PH Insulation has manufactured 1,500 sq. m of insulation boards with a thickness of 50 mm within the agreed timeframe.
The main advantage of the PIR Plita® is its energy efficiency: PIR Boards retain heat or cold for twice as long as mineral wool insulation due to its thermal conductivity of 0,020 W/mK, confirmed in the Russian Central Research and Design Institute of Industrial Buildings and Structures.
The multi-purpose insulation PIR Plita® boards are certified according to the European standard for polyisocyanurate foam insulation with soft cladding EN 13165 in terms of fire safety — class E in terms of fire reaction.
