How Many Packs of Panels Will Fit in a Truck? Download Your Guide for Load Carrying Capacity

Insulated panels and refrigeration doors require careful approach to the choice of transport. Certainly, packs of your panels should ideally fit into the truck, but depending on panel type and size, the number of packs you will be able to load into a truck will vary.

Should you prefer to arrange transportation yourself, you need to consider two most important factors:

  1. Make sure that the dimensions of truck floor space are not smaller even by 2-3 cm and the floor is clear from any objects. Even a tiny narrowing can make a dramatic difference: the panels may not fit into the truck.
  2. The loading and unloading requirements to minimize potential damages to your goods. You will need only side loading flatbed trucks, tautliner or curtainsiders, so that the curtains could be drawn open and forklifts used along the sides for fast and safe loading and unloading. The driver should also bring 6 to 10 restraint straps to secure the packs of insulated panels tightly.
