Cheese Storage Warehouse

A farm in Nizhny Novgorod needed energy-efficient construction materials to build a cheese storage warehouse.

The client decided to build the new warehouse using PIR Premier sandwich panels with a uniquely low thermal conductivity up to 0.0194 W/(m*K).

Within the agreed timeframe, PH Insulation has manufactured 3 511 sq. m of PIR Premier wall sandwich panels. For refrigerating chambers the client chose PIR Premier sandwich panels with a thickness of 100 and 150 mm. For internal walls — 150 and 200 mm thick PIR Premier sandwich panels. 

Some panels were made from food-grade stainless steel AISI 304 on the inside and signal white RAL 9003 on the outside, while others were in RAL 9003 color on both sides.

The warehouse was also equipped with six sliding refrigeration doors in AISI 304 on the inside and RAL 9003 on the outside. The doors thickness is 80 mm.

Combining various types of coatings allowed the client to reduce the cost of sandwich panels and refrigeration doors.
