Refrigerating Chamber in a Food Production Facility
For construction of a refrigerating chamber in Vladimir, Russia, a contractor needed PIR sandwich panels with special coating. Since hygiene is the top priority in the food industry, the panels needed to come in chemical resistant coating to endure frequent disinfection and cleaning.
PH Insulation has manufactured and delivered over 1000 sq. m of 150 mm thick PIR Premier sandwich panels with combined facings: white aluminium RAL 9006 outside, and stainless steel AISI 304 inside. The use of various metal coating helped the contractor to reduce the cost of sandwich panels.
AISI 304 stainless steel coating is the ideal solution for food production facilities, meat processing plants, fruits storage cold rooms, production workshops. AISI 304 used by PH Insulation was tested in 2023 by the leading Russian research institute of ferrous metallurgy, the Metalltest Test Center of I.P. Bardin Central Research Institute of Ferrous Metals. The experts confirmed the highest quality of the PH Insulation products: according to the test results, the coating conforms to the requirements of the regional GOST technical standard 5632-2014; 304 for ASTM A240/A240M specification.
