Caviar Factory

For construction of a new caviar factory in Karelia, Russia, contractor needed an energy-efficient building material with low thermal conductivity. To save on energy bills for keeping the needed temperature in the cold room, the contractor chose PIR Premier sandwich panels with the lowest thermal conductivity: only 0.0194 W/mK. In two weeks PH Insulation manufactured more than 1 600 sq. m of 80-120 thick wall sandwich panels with PIR Premier. The building is equipped with eleven sliding and four hinged PH Insulation refrigeration doors with stainless steel AISI 304 on both sides.

Food industry premises are required to maintain high hygiene standards and are cleaned with specialized chemicals, so the insulated panels are made of combined materials: outside signal white RAL 9003, and inside - stainless steel AISI 304. Stainless steel AISI 304 is widely used for food industry due to its corrosion resistance.
