Transformer Substations

A company that produces equipment for the operation of oil and gas wells needed to quickly construct compact transformer substations.

For the construction of the substations, the company chose PH Insulation’s sandwich panels with mineral wool, which are manufactured on the automated line of PH Insulation in strict accordance with Russian state standard GOST 32603-2021. The increased adhesion of mineral wool to metal is provided by PH Insulation’s polyurethane adhesive, developed at the PH Insulation’s R&D Center specially for the panels with mineral wool insulation.

Within the agreed timeframe, PH Insulation has produced over 300 square meters of sandwich panels with mineral wool. The exterior of the sandwich panels is made in a white-green color RAL 6019, while the interior is in signal white RAL 9003.

By employing different colors for different sides of the sandwich panels, design requirements were met without incurring additional costs for non-standard colors that wouldn't be visible.
