Thermal Power Station
To construct the thermal power station in Syktyvkar, Komi Republic, the client needed sandwich panels.
The client opted for energy-efficient PIR Premier sandwich panels with a uniquely low thermal conductivity up to 0.0194 W/m*K. Thanks to their smaller thickness compared to sandwich panels with mineral wool needed for the same level of insulation, PIR Premier sandwich panels allow to save on transportation costs. Additionally, due to their lighter weight, they are easier to install on-site.
Within the agreed timeframe, PH Insulation has manufactured 1 652 sq. m of PIR Premier roof sandwich panels in RAL 9003/9003 color, and 2 840 sq. m of PIR Premier wall sandwich panels in RAL 6018/9003, RAL 5024/9003, RAL 7004/9003 colors. The wall panels are 100 mm thick, while the thickness of the roof panels is 120 mm. By employing different colors for different sides of the wall sandwich panels, design requirements were met without incurring additional costs for non-standard colors that wouldn't be visible.
