PH Insulation has unveiled an upgraded gatehouse entrance at its production facility in Shchyolkovo, Moscow region. The new Checkpoint No. 3, which handles vehicle access for raw material deliveries, finished goods loading, and entry for the employees, has been redesigned to provide a more comfortable and efficient experience for the clients and employees of PH Insulation.
The gatehouse features PH Insulation’s corporate colors: white, blue, and orange. Spanning an area of 85 square meters, the new access point is constructed with 400 square meters of PH Insulation wall and roof 100 mm thick insulated panels with PIR Premier insulation. The sandwich panels boast a thermal conductivity ratio of up to 0.0194 W/(m·K).
Special attention was given to the aesthetic design of the gatehouse and the creation of a comfortable interior environment. The space is visually expanded by an aluminium curtain wall system, while triple-glazed windows with thermally efficient aluminium frames, air curtains, and split heating and cooling system ensure optimal working conditions year-round. Spacious, well-organized rooms have been designed to streamline the documentation process for loading and unloading operations. The architectural concept emphasizes the checkpoint’s core function, with the drivers’ entrance prominently marked by blue columns.
In the near future, plans are in place to add coffee and snack vending machines, as well as a wayfinding signage system to help drivers navigate more easily, especially during night time.
The newly revamped gatehouse offers our clients a comfortable, warm, and well-lit space for processing documents, no matter the season or weather. We have also worked to design a modern workspace for our staff. The new facility allows for efficient workstation organization and provides a clear view of the parking lot and finished goods storage area. Employees entering the PH Insulation manufacturing area through this checkpoint can now enjoy a more welcoming entrance area, enhancing their overall experience.

The choice of building materials for the new gatehouse was clear from the start —of course we constructed it with PIR Premier sandwich panels. These sandwich panels provide speed, a modern appearance, and most important – maximum energy efficiency. From the project's launch to the opening, the process took only three months, including the setup of workstations.
We also plan to upgrade other gatehouses to our manufacturing area. The contemporary design will welcome visitors from the very first step onto our premises.
