PH Insulation has successfully tested its electric drive on sliding industrial gates measuring 4300 mm in width and 4500 mm in height for 3 consecutive months. The testing results signify yet another achievement, as these are the largest gates to date to feature this electric drive model.
The electric drive has been developed by PH Insulation’s Technical Solutions and New Developments Department to meet the specific operational requirements of refrigeration chambers. Although designed for doors and gates up to 3 meters in width, testing has confirmed its effectiveness on significantly larger gates.
The sliding gates with electric drive are located at PH Insulation’s first continuous automatic line for sandwich panel production. The gates open at the touch of a button on a control panel mounted on the workshop wall and close automatically. To enhance operational safety, a photoelectric sensor has been added to prevent accidental closure. This sensor triggers an emergency opening if a person, forklift, or any object enters the gate's path.
In the near future, PH Insulation will incorporate a remote control feature to the drive.
The gates in our workshop have proven to be an ideal testing ground for the electric drive’s work under extreme loads. Once again, we have confirmed the durability of the solutions we create for our partners in the refrigeration industry, and we invite everyone to visit our production facility to observe its performance firsthand
