PH Insulation releases new video tutorial explaining how to install PIR Premier insulated panels vertically to a steel frame for fast build construction.
The video was filmed at PH insulation premises 40 km from Moscow, Russia, showing the construction of its new production facility. The industrial building will house PH Insulation’s second automatic Italian line, that produces PIR Premier and mineral wool sandwich panels.
Installation of sandwich panels should be performed by experienced craftsmen in the proper order to avoid complications during the construction and to secure utmost energy efficiency of the building. The new video tutorial shows step-by-step instructions starting from unpacking of the panels, removal of the protective film and to the fastening of the panels to steel structural frame.
"PIR Premier insulated panels are an advanced building material for modern construction. The quality of installation works will have direct impact on how the new building will look and its insulation values," said Alexander Butakov, Head of Industrial Construction Division of the PH Insulation Commercial Department.
"Should you install insulated panels with the protection film on, you will face difficulties removing the film from the walls. And if you skip the application of sealing foam, the tongue and groove lock of the panels would not hold heat or cold as efficiently as it is designed to.
