PH Insulation has installed 808 solar panels on the building of its first continuous line for the production of sandwich panels in the city of Shchelkovo, Moscow Region, Russia.

Another 1,102 SolarOn photovoltaic panels will be installed before the end of the year on the rooftops of three buildings that house PH Insulation’s second continuous line, door manufacturing unit and the R&D Center for PIR systems’ synthesis.

By the end of 2022, PH Insulation will have 800 kW of solar power installed, providing up to 100 percent of its electric power needs during high season.

“Since we specialize in innovative energy saving technologies, we have been pursuing solar generation on our premises for quite some time. Now we are reaching a new level: we will fully cover our electricity needs with four solar stations on the roof of our manufacturing buildings during high season.

We are convinced that the future lies in saving energy, in reducing the Earth's resource consumption, and in smart energy use. We hope that our customers all over the world will appreciate the opportunity to use in construction the world's most green sandwich panels and refrigeration doors made with the help of solar”

Sergey Tokmakov
CEO of PH Insulation

The massive use of renewable energy sources will allow PH Insulation to reduce its CO2 emissions into the atmosphere by over 10 times. In future, PH Insulation plans to export surplus energy to the grid.

PH Insulation has been using solar energy since 2016. In 2021, PH Insulation developed the Solar Sandwich solution, which consists of wall or roof sandwich panels with PIR Premier foam and solar stations.
