ProfHolod Receives Compliance Certificate for PIR‑MW Hybrid Sandwich Panels

 <yandex:full-text>

 ProfHolod has successfully certified its hybrid sandwich panels with PIR‑MW insulation — a combination of polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam and mineral wool.

 The compliance certificate is an official confirmation that the panels meet the requirements of current technical regulations and industry standards. For design and construction organisations, this document guarantees the ability to include the product in project documentation, smoothly pass expert reviews, and commission facilities without complications.

Key advantages of PIR‑MW hybrid panels

 The hybrid PIR‑MW panels combine the strengths of both insulation materials:

	PIR foam provides low thermal conductivity, enabling efficient heat retention and reduced operating costs

	Mineral wool enhances the fire resistance of the structure. As a non‑combustible material, it retains its properties at high temperatures — a critical feature for facilities with stringent fire safety requirements.

 The certificate confirms that the declared performance characteristics have been verified through testing. The panels have been evaluated against key parameters, including thermal conductivity, fire safety, strength, and durability. This minimises risks for customers during project approval and acceptance phases.

 ProfHolod manufactures PIR‑MW panels as a technologically advanced solution for modern construction challenges. In‑house engineering expertise and rigorous quality control at every production stage ensure consistent product quality.

 Benefits for partners:

	Documented design foundation. The certificate grants the right to use the panels in projects of various scales — from industrial buildings to logistics complexes

	Flexibility in technical solutions. The insulation combination allows finding the optimal balance between thermal protection and fire resistance tailored to the specific conditions of each facility

	Faster approvals. Verified compliance with regulations helps expedite the approval of specifications and speeds up the expert review process.

 We are ready to provide a full set of permitting documentation, technical datasheets, and consultations on the application of PIR‑MW panels. Our specialists will help you select the appropriate configuration and calculate parameters to meet your project requirements.

 To obtain copies of the certificate and schedule a consultation, please contact your personal account manager or send a request to hello@profholod.com.

ProfHolod Extends Compliance Certificates

 <yandex:full-text>

 ProfHolod is pleased to inform its partners and customers about the extension of validity periods for compliance certificates on the following products:

	fire‑resistant doors of the OD P, RDOP P, and RDD P types;

	sandwich panels with rigid covers and polyurethane foam (PUF) insulation (SIP Panels (PUR)).

 The company systematically ensures that all permitting documentation remains up to date and guarantees that its products fully comply with current technical regulations and industry standards. The certificate extensions confirm that the products retain their declared performance characteristics and meet all applicable safety requirements. This is crucial for design solutions, passing expert reviews, and facility acceptance.

 Products covered by the extended certificates:

 1. Fire‑resistant doors (types OD P, RDOP P, RDD P) — structures designed for installation in fire barriers, providing the required fire resistance time. These products meet fire safety requirements for public, industrial, and warehouse buildings.

 2. Sandwich panels with rigid covers and PUF insulation (SIP Panels (PUR)) — a solution for facilities with high requirements for structural rigidity and energy efficiency. The rigid covers ensure panel geometry stability during both installation and long‑term operation.

 The extension of the certificates allows our partners to confidently include these items in design and cost estimation documentation, as well as to plan procurements without the risk of supply disruptions due to expired permitting documents.

 To obtain the relevant documentation, please contact your personal account manager or submit a request to us via email at hello@profholod.com.

ProfHolod Increases Warehouse Throughput Capacity

 <yandex:full-text>

 As part of efforts to improve warehouse logistics efficiency, our team has successfully optimised vehicle loading processes, reducing average loading time by 34 % per container.

Initial implementation results

 The first outcomes of the new system are already evident:

	Previous: 1 hour 48 minutes;

	Now: 1 hour 11 minutes;

	Result: a 37‑minute reduction (–34 %) in loading time per container.

 Previously, handling large‑capacity containers (LCCs) was a time‑consuming process. This led the warehouse to impose internal limits on the number of containers processed per day, and managers had to inform clients about supply volume restrictions.

 The ProfHolod team developed and implemented an innovative solution that has fundamentally transformed the situation by streamlining work processes:

	loading speed for LCCs has significantly increased;

	warehouse throughput capacity has grown;

	all previous limits and restrictions have been completely removed.

New capabilities

 Following the implementation of these changes, the warehouse has transitioned to a flexible schedule for handling LCCs, with no quantitative restrictions:

	container acceptance takes place during standard working hours — from 8:00 to 20:00;

	booking slots for loading are available every 10 minutes (from 8:00 to 19:00).

 The successful experience of optimising LCC loading has become a starting point for further development of the logistics infrastructure. The ProfHolod team is currently working on adapting similar solutions for other types of trailers. The goal is to further increase warehouse throughput capacity and create the most comfortable conditions for partners and customers.

	at least REI 150 — for panels with a thickness of at least 120 mm.

 These fire resistance ratings are guaranteed when the following conditions are met:

 Use of metal three‑layer wall panels (type PST‑Z) manufactured by ProfHolod LLC:

	thicknesses: 80 mm, 100 mm, and at least 120 mm;

	metal facings;

	mineral wool core;

	manufactured in accordance with GOST 32603‑2021.

 Installation on a frame made of load‑bearing elements with the following fire resistance ratings:

	REI 60 — for 80 mm panels;

ProfHolod in TC 144: Advancing a New Standard for PIR Sandwich Panels

 <yandex:full-text>

 ProfHolod is taking the final step in developing its own draft standard for sandwich panels with polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation.

 The company has been actively participating in the work of Technical Committee for Standardisation No. 144 “Construction Materials, Products, and Structures” (TC 144) for many years. ProfHolod joined the committee in 2018 — shortly after its establishment (in accordance with Rosstandart Order No. 1424 dated 29 June 2017).

What does TC 144 do?

 Technical Committee No. 144 is responsible for developing and updating standards and other regulatory documents in the field of:

	construction and finishing materials;

	metal structures;

	wooden structures;

	mineral non‑metallic structures.

 The committee’s work directly impacts the quality and safety of construction products in Russia, establishing uniform rules for the entire industry.

ProfHolod’s participation in TC 144

 By participating in TC 144, ProfHolod not only keeps track of trends in standardisation but also contributes to shaping industry norms. Within the committee, we:

	receive draft standards, regulations, and codes of practice for evaluation and provide expert feedback;

	take part in discussions of new standard drafts, proposals to repeal or update existing regulations, and other matters during TC meetings;

	vote on draft standards, regulations, codes of practice, amendments to them, expert opinions, and other proposals;

	put forward initiatives to develop and update national and interstate standards within the TC’s scope of competence.

 This approach ensures that the interests of sandwich panel and refrigerated door manufacturers are taken into account when new requirements and norms are being developed. It helps align industry standards with real‑world production capabilities and market needs, ultimately benefiting both manufacturers and end users.

 At present, ProfHolod is developing its own draft standard for sandwich panels with polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation. Participation in TC 144 (Technical Committee No. 144) provides us with the opportunity to:

	draw on the experience of colleagues and regulators;

	take into account current market requirements;

	ensure that the future standard aligns with real‑world production processes.

 ProfHolod’s participation in TC 144 is not just formal membership. It represents:

	a guarantee that our products comply with the requirements of the most up‑to‑date quality and safety standards;

	the opportunity to influence the development of norms, making them more practical and realistic for all manufacturers;

	a contribution to the advancement of the entire industry, which ultimately enhances confidence in Russian construction materials at the international level.

We continue to
actively work within TC 144 to ensure that our customers continue to
receive products that meet the highest standard requirements.
</yandex:full-text>

Quality Confirmed by Documentation

 <yandex:full-text>

 ProfHolod confirms the high quality of its products through quality passports — accompanying documents that certify compliance of a product batch with regulatory requirements. To date, the company has issued more than 6 200 such passports.

What is a quality passport and why is it needed?

 A quality passport confirms that a specific product batch complies with the regulatory document on which it is based (GOST, TU, etc.). The document is mandatory when required by regulations or the supply agreement.

Benefits for the buyer

 For the buyer, the quality passport guarantees:

	compliance of the product with declared specifications;

	transparency of batch data (manufacturing date, batch number, quantity, etc.);

	the ability to verify the authenticity and accuracy of the data by cross‑checking with actual values.

Benefits for the manufacturer

 For the manufacturer, the quality passport:

	records the results of acceptance testing;

	enhances trust in the company;

	assists in passing state expert reviews and participating in public procurement.

Which products receive a quality passport?

 ProfHolod issues quality passports for:

	sandwich panels;

	PIR boards;

	shaped elements.

 For doors, quality information is indicated in the operating instructions (section “Quality Information”).

How and by whom is the document issued?

 The quality passport is prepared by the Quality Control Department within 2 working days after a request from the responsible sales manager.

 Testing for the passport is conducted by ProfHolod’s laboratory — acceptance tests are performed.

Key parameters included in the passport

 The document must include:

	name of the manufacturer;

	passport number and issue date;

	batch number and manufacturing date;

	product range and quantity;

	regulatory document (GOST, TU) on which the product is based;

	certification information;

	profiling type;

	insulation grade;

	service life (at least 10 years);

	additional information.

Important details

 The validity period of the passport is unlimited — it remains valid throughout the entire service life of the product.

 Passport numbering starts at the beginning of each year. For example, nearly fifty passports have already been issued since the start of 2026.

 All compliance certificates are available on the company’s official website — customers can review them and check their validity periods.

 ProfHolod strictly adheres to regulatory requirements and ensures full transparency of product quality data. The presence of a detailed quality passport is a guarantee of reliability and durability of materials for large construction projects.

PH Insulation Conducts Tests on Combined Sandwich Panels with PIR Premier and Mineral Wool Insulation

 <yandex:full-text>

 PH Insulation has conducted tests on combined sandwich panels featuring two types of insulation: mineral wool and PIR Premier. The tests were carried out in PH Insulation’s production laboratory. The specialists evaluated the physical-mechanical and thermal-physical indicators: tensile strength, compression, shear modulus, thermal conductivity coefficient, and thermal resistance.

 Testing results are available upon request.

 A new type of sandwich panels will optimize the costs of constructing enclosing structures by combining the best qualities of the most popular insulation materials. Combined sandwich panels will feature the highest thermal conductivity of PIR Premier polyisocyanurate foam, reaching up to 0.0194 W/(m·K), along with the fire resistance of mineral wool up to EI 180. The company plans to produce combined sandwich panels with thicknesses ranging from 80 to 250 mm.

 According to calculations by PH Insulation’s specialists from the Department of Technical Solutions and New Developments combined sandwich panel with a thickness of 100 mm will replace a sandwich panel with 150 mm of mineral wool in terms of thermal conductivity, while a combined sandwich panel with a thickness of 120 mm will replace a sandwich panel with 180 mm of mineral wool.

 In terms of fire resistance, a combined sandwich panel with a thickness of 100 mm is expected to match the performance of a sandwich panel with 80 mm of mineral wool while being lighter.

 For consultations on the application features of sandwich panels with PIR Premier, PUR Classic, and mineral wool, as well as combined sandwich panels, please contact the managers of the Commercial Department at PH Insulation.

 <yandex:full-text>

 The Technical Solutions and New Developments Department of PH Insulation presents an enhanced solution for refrigerating and freezing chambers – hinged doors with automatic closers.

 Now, refrigeration doors can close automatically without any staff intervention, leading to:

	up to a 25% reduction in energy costs, depending on frequency of door openings and the temperature in the facility

	decreased risk of product spoilage inside the chamber

	reduced likelihood of ice buildup on the seals

 According to research, refrigerating chamber in a restaurant is typically opened 100-300 times a day during meal preparation. If the door is left slightly open, the temperature inside the chamber can rise by 5-7°C every minute, depending on the temperature in the room. This can increase the compressor load by up to 20%. The automatic closer will help save energy and money by closing the door automatically in just 3 seconds.

The automatic closer is compatible with all PH Insulation’s hinged doors, including half-hidden, threshold, and non-threshold
models.
</yandex:full-text>

Sleeker & More Functional: PH Insulation’s New Refrigeration Door Handle

 <yandex:full-text>

 PH Insulation presents an improved version of the 3540 internal handle for heavy-duty sliding refrigeration doors.

 The new handle combines elegant design with enhanced functionality, making it more user-friendly.

 As part of the modernization, PH Insulation’s Design and technical documentation department team has improved the structural elements of the handle and modified its design. The new version has been developed based on customers feedback:

	Elegant design: rounded edges make the handle safer and more aesthetically pleasing

	Seal-safe operation: the upgraded lever prevents seal wear during use

 The development of the new handle was carried out using 3D modeling. Creating a detailed three-dimensional model allowed engineers to analyze all structural elements during the design phase, ensuring maximum accuracy and alignment with manufacturing capabilities.

 The upgraded 3540 handle for refrigeration doors will be available for purchase starting June 2025. PH Insulation’s heavy-duty series of sliding doors, which will feature the new handle, is designed for openings with a minimum height of 2500 mm and a minimum width of 1500 mm. The sliding doors are ideal for insulating large openings in warehouses and refrigeration facilities, offering more space efficiency in corridors compared to hinged doors.

 <yandex:full-text>

 By the end of 2024, PH Insulation has prevented the emission of 1 164 tons of CO₂ over nine years of solar energy use at its production site in Shchelkovo, Moscow region. This amount of CO₂ is equivalent to planting 6 000 trees. PH Insulation pursues continuous reduction of environmental impact through the operation of seven solar power plants with a total capacity of 720 kW installed at the PH Insulation’s manufacturing site.

 By mid-February 2025, PH Insulation’s solar power stations have generated over 1 480 MWh of electricity, which is integrated into the general power grid. The use of solar energy partially covers the production needs and reduces dependence on traditional energy sources.

 PH Insulation’s solar panels were manufactured and installed by SolarOn, the first solar module manufacturer in Armenia.

 Starting from 2021, PH Insulation offers partners to install a green energy solution on new and already built facilities: the Solar Sandwich system. The system consists of sandwich panels with PIR Premier insulation and solar panels, allowing the combination of solar energy use and efficient heat or cold saving.

 PH Insulation has opened a second checkpoint for drivers at its production site in Shchelkovo, Moscow region. The new checkpoint is conveniently located near Gatehouse No. 4.

 Previously, all exit documents were processed only at Gatehouse No. 3. Now, drivers can visit either of the two checkpoints whichever is closer to their loading area. The new checkpoint is expected to save approximately 200 hours per month of the total time vehicles spend on PH Insulation’s grounds, as dozens of trucks pass through the PH Insulation’ territory every day.

 Minimizing loading times at the outdoor storage area is one of our key priorities. By increasing the number of checkpoints and optimizing drivers' routes within storage area, we expect to achieve a comprehensive positive effect. This will enhance drivers’ comfort, particularly during adverse weather conditions, reduce exit times, and expedite product delivery to our clients, ultimately improving vehicle turnover at our production site.
