The first major fish refrigerating complex in the Russian port of Nakhodka is built with PIR Premier sandwich panels by PH Insulation, ProfHolod in Russia. The warehouse will be used for storage of 12 tons of fish. The building has been commissioned meeting all the deadlines owing to the easy installation of sandwich panels. The contractors managed to continue work despite severe weather conditions of the coastal strip of the Sea of Japan: snow storms, gusts of wind, heavy rains.

The Far East company that carried out the construction project has been using PH Insulation sandwich panels for more than five years. The contractors are paying particular credit to the high quality of PH Insulation's products, short delivery time, and low delivery cost.

Annually PH Insulation delivers to the Russian Far East over 100 containers with sandwich panels and doors for the construction and renovation of industrial buildings.

With over 16 years of experience in sandwich panels’ production, we have thoroughly learned all the specifics of delivering our goods inside shipping containers. Usually, for the purpose of long transportation in the containers, we manufacture sandwich panels one meter wide. Thus the panels are easily loaded into the container leaving space necessary for protective air bags. If a customer needs wider panels, we also know how to load them safely.

PH Insulation manufactures sandwich panels in Moscow region, and since Moscow is a major Russian transport hub, the shipping cost to the Far East is lower compared to shipping from other regions of Russia and of course from abroad, when customs clearance adds up to the cost and time of delivery.

For construction of the Nakhodka cold storage warehouse PH Insulation has manufactured and delivered 7 491 sq. m of  80, 120, and 150 mm thick PIR Premier wall sandwich panels. Sandwich panels have been produced in two colors: standard white RAL 9003, and signal gray RAL 5005. The blue façade panels make up for a wavelike pattern.

The new refrigerating complex will provide the Far Eastern fish industry with high-quality storage of frozen products. The cold storage warehouse is planned to grow into a logistics hub aiming to handle refrigerated shipping containers.
